The Office Basics brand of cartridges has been around since 1995, with currently almost 400 quality products in the range. Every product is carefully produced to ensure it matches or in many cases exceeds the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) cartridge both in quality and in page yield.
Office Basics cartridges offer you a significant cost saving over the OEM cartridges. With the same print quality, identical page yield and satisfaction guarantee, cost savings come without compromise.
Office Basics care if you have a problem with a product and we will do all we can to sort it out.
All Office Basics cartridges have been quality-control tested to meet strict guidelines including build specification, page yield and optical colour density. All of these standards are set to achieve an end result that is equivalent to, or in most cases, better than the OEM’s equivalent product. We have 100% confidence in all of our print cartridges but understand that it is important for you to have the same assurance about our product.
Our guarantee is in place to not only offer you peace of mind but also to ensure that if one of our products does not meet your expectations we will offer you a replacement cartridge or a full refund.
A key focus for many companies in the current climate is moving towards a reduced Carbon Footprint and a stronger Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) message. The Office Basics range of printer cartridges supports both of these key messages, being both a recycled and environmentally friendly alternative to the OEM product.
There are many environmental benefits to our range of remanufactured cartridges:
It is crucial to perform every stage of the recycling process to strict, high standards to ensure consistency of quality. With our inkjet cartridges, upon arrival, they are all graded according to visual inspection standards, and then prepared for the remanufacturing process. Each individual inkjet cartridge is then print or circuit tested (instead of tested in batches), to ensure that they are in full working order.
The cartridges are then flushed and thoroughly cleaned to remove any old or dried ink, before being filled volumetrically under vacuum to a level equal to, or in many cases greater than the OEM equivalent. The cartridges then undergo a full A4 print test prior to packaging to ensure they meet our stringent quality print standards. The products are then finished and packaged and once again visually inspected for approval to ship.
The entire inkjet remanufacturing process allows full traceability on ink batch, machines and staff due to the unique batch codes that are allocated at the start of the process. This allows us to carefully monitor any changes in production and ensure the final product always meets our high quality print standards. All inkjet and toner cartridges are produced under strict ISO9001 quality standards and ISO14001 environmental standards.
For every single cartridge that is remanufactured, over a pound of plastic is withheld from the global waste stream. The recycling of a toner cartridge uses only about 20% of the total energy needed to create a brand new cartridge.
Through our free of charge recycling programme cartridges are collected and returned to our collection centre, therefore avoiding landfill. The units are then evaluated for their suitability to be remanufactured or put through an ‘end of life’ process. Those cartridges which cannot be remanufactured are dissembled to raw component parts and then recycled You’re making a conscious environmental choice by purchasing Office Basics, the right choice.
